My Sonnet 1

For to eternity the flame doth burn

Love made in light to warm thy very soul

If love to fail my heart fixed in an urn

For to bring death by flame upon the coal

Love then is life itself,  our creator

Life absent love is death like moonless night

Loved feigned is a tiger made of paper

Love in truth requires strength, all our fight

This known how do I love thee, my very heart

With all my soul I adore your kind grace

My soul sees its mate, the true counterpart

Truth my eyes beam upon thy divine face

Filled with wisdom and love giving true faith

That our days ne’er end, love lost like a wraith
