To Go On My Sons

Though the gravity of moments give heavy burden thee upon,

and the rage and hatred of the world is coarse;

You must go on, my sons…you must go on.

The surrounding fools quip “The low road is easy and flat thereon”,

but a violent storm consumes the way that they force;

Know your convictions, my sons, and therein… act on.

The wise ones divined a path of transcendence in times long forgone,

a path the weak try to destroy from its source;

But you must go on, my sons…you must go on.

Your father is watching you experience life, each movement now bygone,

Your love and kindness, as a father, I do endorse;

Battle for your convictions, my sons, and therein…act on.

You must go on, my sons…you must go on.
